This is a great apartment and we really enjoyed our stay. It is in a small village just a few miles from Durham - we drove into the city but also used the buses which run every 30 minutes from about 5 minutes walk away and take 11 minutes to reach the centre.
The apartment was spotless and well presented and had everything we needed for a short break. The owners (who live next door) were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we plan to visit again if we want to stay around Durham.

We had a lovely few days at Bancroft. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well designed and thought through, with a brilliant eye for detail, which made time away from home with 2 young children so much easier!
We were given a warm welcome and made to feel completely at ease and relaxed.
We will be booking again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bancroft to fellow families or even for a couples break away.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Spacious rooms with a layout that really worked for our family of 4 (kids aged 12 and 16). Owner very friendly and helpful. Would happily stay again and highly recommend.
