Elisabeth was a great host! gave us some good tips on places to visit. The place is remote and very peaceful. It would be good to have your own car or Elisabeth provides a shuttle service which is cheaper than a taxi.

Well, what can I say? We certainly did not expect to arrive at El Ranxo and be SO blown away by the place. Not only in a beautiful location, but the property itself was idyllic! Our room for two adults and three kids absolutely perfect. The dining area and cooking facilities top notch. Breakfast wonderful. Then the swimming pool, tennis court, kids ride on toys. And the lovely warm welcome we received on arrival. I really couldn’t be more positive about this place.
We were on our way back from a road trip from Wales to the south of Spain, and we were quite sad to be traveling home, thinking that we’d already had all of the good times and highlights of the trip, but El Ranxo proved us wrong. We were just disappointed we only had one night!
If you want to stay near Barcelona/Girona, stay here!! You won’t regret it.
And, Girona…WOW, what a place.
