Great staff, very friendly and helpful and even upgraded my room for the night to a double. Which was lovely. Credit to the hotel!
The hotel it’s self is dated and in need some some Renovating. I would still stay here though for the odd night when needed.
The only negative I would say was my room wasn’t very very clean as there was spiders cobwebs handing all around the suspended ceiling tiles which was a concern. But i slept great.

We stayed here for after a night out so never really used anything bar the bar and the bed. Bed was big and comfortable, overall clean but dated but for a hotel in the centre of town for this cheap. Overall I'd go back to the Grand

Hotel was tired. Staff did not know facilities in own rooms. Initially offered myself and wife two separate rooms as they did not have an accessible room. Advertised restaurant but it was closed. Stairs out of action (dangerous in an evacuation)To be fair the bed was comfortable.

There was no heating the room was cold, the hot water was full of salt . Also not enough staff Best Western worse Hotel i never stay there again

Victorian hotel which is well maintained inside. Large rooms and bathroom with loads of hot water. Staff helpful. Limited unsecured car parking. No air conditioning. Noisy seagulls which may cause issues for light sleepers.

Amazing! Felt so looked after, Anne and Irene are friendly, considerate and an asset to Best Western. Comfortable stay, there’s still some renovations taking place but didn’t affect the quality of our stay. The staff made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, plenty to do, lots of easy to reach places - fabulous
