A clean, calm, and comfortable oasis at the island’s center — my five days here were thoroughly enjoyable.
A private bungalow with plunge pool in the centre of the island. Good location and 10-15 minutes walk from anywhere on Gili Air.
Staff in the hotel were very friendly, considerate to provide earplugs for the Muslim prayers which were on and off pretty much all day and at 04.30 every morning.
Room was fairly clean but there could have been more attention to detail especially the bathroom. Some of the furniture and fittings are old and need to be replaced. Breakfast when we booked via Hotels.com was stated to be included in the price, we were charged at the end of our stay and tbh it was pretty inedible. Unfortunately the manager failed to understand me when I tried to explain due to language barriers.
The staff was very friendly. The whole villa was ok but everything was a bit used. It's not exactly what you see on the pics. The breakfast options were very small, there were no fruit plates or a bowle, something like this. The hotel is located in the middle of the island, so you have to be prepared, that you hear the prayers in the middle of the night.
Really friendly staff that were more than happy to help with any information about the island and also organised a taxi for us to take away from having to haggle over prices etc. The free bikes was really handy to get around the island and the pool was amazing to come back to in the evening. The breakfast was yum and the rooms were always cleaned straight after we left so we didn’t get bothered if we wanted to come back and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Gili Air.

We had an amazing stay. Not only was the property well maintained, tastefully decorated and relaxing, but the service was extremely personal and attentive. We haven't often left reviews (which is why this one is a few months late) but this stay deserves a review. Here's what you should know, the island is super small, so staying by the beach isn't really a big priority, you can actually walk to the beach within 10-minutes. Also, the bikes included are super fun, and get you almost anywhere on the island within 10 minutes. The breakfast is delicious and extremely convenient. The biggest drawback in staying here is you have to choose between swimming in your private pool and the ocean, it's really hard to choose. Anyway, this Ke Rensia is an amazing value, the stay was truly memorable.
