This is a Japanese home of the traditional style, with sliding paper doors and thin walls.
It has no central heating, Only a couple of individual heating units. It has no beds, only fin futons to be slept in on tatami mats. The table is less than a foot off the ground and people must sit on cushions on the tatami mats.
The bath is a huge round ceramic tub, that feels automatically and stays heated at the specified temperature.
Check-in is at a separate location. The check-in is at a building just South of the Avanti building, which is just south of the central train station.
The house is very spare but is elegant in a simple Japanese way.
