This is not really as it suggests in the photos. The accommodation is basic, nor aircon (just a noisy fan) and furniture is all flat pack, some of it falling apart. The kitchen is clean and adequate but very basic all round. The disappointing bathroom has a shower 2ft sq, so not a chance to bend over and move generally. The shower is in need of a major update. (The room we stayed in is the one depicted in the photos with the palm tree, which is not to that standard) The private lakeside area is divided between the property and a very busy main road to gain access. The walk to the private lakeside is rocky, painful and not family friendly, as well as not being easy to get back out of after a swim. The location is difficult to access other restaurants as there aren't any pathways, so you walk into facing traffic. You definitely need a car to be based here or you will be marooned. Parking is on the road, and you have 44 steps to climb after crossing the main road.

The apartment is located opposite it’s own private beach with a jetty, a great spot for pearching on and gazing out over the lake. Short walk to town with lots of little amazing restaurants, I would highly recommend. Lisa who checked us in was very friendly even though she spoke little English she was happy to help.

A terrific and extremely comfortable apartment which had a gorgeous view of the lake.
Despite there being a main road next to it the area is generally quite quiet and the transport links are ok, however the town is quite small (with a couple of very nice restaurants) and so to make the most of it you would need a car.
The communication with the owners was fantastic however as due to our FlyBe flight being delayed by six hours we were a lot later than expected but they were very accommodating and so I would rate them very highly for that.
If you have a family it may be better to stay in one of the larger towns with slightly better transport links but for couples or friends this is nice break away.
