It was really a wonderful stay. The staff was so accommodating and really fulfilled our every wish. The food was fantastic. A perfect place to relax!
The riad courtyard is really beautiful but the surrounding streets are not very clean.
The room is designed to look nice. However, the water for the shower was not very hot, the tap for the sink was dripping and the carpet not very clean with hair and fluff on it.
The absolute worst thing was the CRAZY amount of noise from the mosque every day at 6.30!am. We have lived in Dubai so used to that. But this is on a whole other level. The man seems to be screaming for a very long time. We had little sleep during our stay due to noise from the area and the early call to prayer. The main reason for the low rating here.
The Moroccan staff are lovely and very helpful but they do keep trying to sell airport transfers, half day tour (without telling us the cost we were forced into this as we were told you cannot possibly manage the Medina without a guide- not true). We were later charged €60 fir a half day tour. A shame. Not about the money but the lack of transparency and pressure put on us just after we have arrived after a long journey, feeling super tired. We certainly won’t stay there as the noise was unbearable but because of these practices. We did receive a bottle of wine for our 50th birthday which was very thoughtful so want to say Thank you! Hope in future can inform guests prior yo arrival about the noise and not be pushy to sell overpriced services.

From the madness of the medina, this Riad was tranquil and peaceful to come back to which was needed most days!
Breakfast was great, hospitality was great, rooftop was great.

Riad was beautiful and really calming to stay in. Eating breakfast / dinner in the evening on the terrace was lovely. This might not be so nice in cold weather, although there were outdoor heaters. The food was good and the property itself is well kept. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They provide you with a list of some of the main attractions and show you where these are on the map, but equally you can make your own plans. The room was a little cosy for 2 friends, but would be excellent if you were a couple. The only downside of the room was that there were no curtains (frosted windows) which means you will get light in the room in the morning. Also as the Riad is next to a mosque you will hear the call to prayer very early morning. Otherwise, the stay was very good and the property a peaceful sanctuary from the mayhem of the city,

This is such an exceptional riad! Alexandra, the owner is beyond amazing. She was so gracious and generous with her time, ensuring that we had a proper introduction to Marrakech. She went above and beyond. The entire staff is kind and professional. The whole place exudes peace and beauty. Our room was immaculate. The decor is just stunning- everything so attentively restored. The food was delicious. We were sad to leave.
