Great hotel. Terrible check in staff
The rooms are large and are very comfortable. Great value for the money. The drivers are very nice and the views are beautiful
My main complaint is the front office check in staff are very unfriendly and very unhelpful.
Our check-in was terrible and wasted an hour of my time over a minor issue that could have been fixed in one minute. They were worst I have ever encountered in decades of traveling
Aside from that that the hotel was very nice and had a very restful atmosphere. Sunny was an excellent waiter in the dining room. Ordering off the menu is preferable to the buffet in my opinion.
expensive services like spa, shuttle is unreliable at times, very good housekeeping, good food but needs to add choices for foreigners, they even give free dessert, more outdoor activities for the guests, operator should learn english language, internet is complicated, had to do many things just to connect.

Our stay was pleasant but not extraordinary. Attention to details would have made the difference. The check-in was fast, but I had to argue with the staff about my address as they did not believe I was living in India. The room was very clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. The cab system works and we never waited more than 5 minutes for one. We tried the spa; the therapists were not bad, but again, little details like dimming the light and making sure the client is in the correct position for the massage would be important. We went to the pool, where the chairs should have cushions...nobody greeted us or gave us towels and we had to ask twice. These towels were stained. There is advertisement in the room about a variety of activities like horseback riding. we went to the travel desk because we were interested. The staff did not speak or understood a word of English. Another staff came and discouraged us to go because it is outside of the hotel, it was not affiliated and it would be very complicated...
Our stay became great once we met two waiters from the Oasis restaurant: Vikram and Raza. They made us feel like princesses, they explained the food, made sure we were not missing anything, smiling, polite and they had attention to detail. If it would not have been for them, our stay would have had 2 stars. These guys were amazing :)

It takes minimum close to an hour when you order anything from service, laundry and that too after few reminders.
During our stay of 3 nights/ 4 days, room phone was not working properly I. E. Most of the time it was dead or when working with lot of disturbance that you cannot hear other person.
Breakfast menu has mostly had south Indian dishes.
Wonderful experience. The staff was great, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable.
+ Clean and big room.
- Location. Map may say 5km but it is a lot longer. You're in the middle of nowhere and if you don't have your own transport you have to pay at least 970 IRP one way into town. It's not much, but if you add it upp to a couple of trips back and forth per day for an amount of days it gets to you. No free shuttle was provided either and the hotel could not recommend a cheaper mode of transportation. You are more or less trapped at the resort with all corporate groups invading the pool. Making it impossible to even relax by the pool.
- They seem to focus on big corporate groups having their events at the resort. During the time we stayed there three different big corporate groups invaded the resort. This also meant that corporate guests got higher prioritised when it came to service.
I would not recommend this resort if you're coming to Udaipur with the plan to explore the city.
