Turned up at pub we had booked 2 rooms in to find out owners have fled and pub in liquidation- no notice and my money has gone so left stranded with nowhere to stay with kids and a disabled adult. Not good!

A real disappointment. Tired and shabby. No restaurant as informed. Cornflakes and a yogurt in room for breakfast. Bar opened when they felt like it. No one around to talk to. Appeared closed when we arrived. Actually thought it had gone bust. Staff not bothered with guests. We stayed here years ago and it was fabulous. Whoever runs this now has ruined it.

We received a warm welcome and were looked after well by the staff at this ancient inn in the undiscovered of Axbridge. The room was comfortable and spacious and the included breakfast was great, from a comprehensive breakfast menu.

Was a lovely little hotel. Staff and service was great. Breakfast was lovely. Room was a bit tired. Sheet torn on bed. Windows needed a paint job.
