I liked the place. It retained it’s antique-like charm. People complaining about the smell, it’s just the wood that’s been around a long time but it’s not mold or anything unhealthy. I liked the smell. Like a cabin in the middle of the forest. It was an easy and great experience. Excellent location without a doubt. Friendly staff.

Positive: location in one of the best districts in Paris, comfortable bed, nice atmosphere. Heating functioned well. Enough storage in the room. Negative: room was very little and noisy. No view, I could never understand the weather outside since my window faced a wall. I booked a room with shower and got a room with bath which was placed 10 cm from the bed. Everytime the floor around the bed got wet and I was scared of getting water on the bed. No desk.

Completely functional room conveniently located two blocks from Odeon Metro Station (Line 4). Room was clean and comfortable and a nice size. Shower/tub combination worked well. Also close to many outdoor and indoor restaurants. Staff was present and effective. No complaints!
