Truc Huy Villa

We had asked for airport pickup but that didn't arrive so got a taxi there. On arrival from the outside it looked shut. We went inside to find a dirty empty reception, walked into the restaurant to find 2 people asleep. The girl asked if she could help us, we said we were booked in, she made a phone call and then took us to a room. We walked by the pool, there was a dirty table, rubbish in the corner, filthy floors, no sunbeds. The room was full of mosquitos,we got bitten to death the first night, the shower was filthy. Got up for breakfast, another lady came, there was nothing at all for breakfast. She got us a cup of something to drink. There was only one girl there who was asleep all the time, a man who I think was the owner living in the ground floor room. The place looked closed, everywhere was dirty, it was old and needed renovating. Nothing like the pictures.

Loved our stay at the villa, very quiet but close to the amazing city centre (25 min walk but lots to see on the way). Pool was amazing too, and room was super comfy.

This is a very comfortable hotel, very clean rooms. Nice, large pool. Walking distance to both Hoi An centre and Cua Dai beach but the taxis are very cheap also.

This hotel is located a 30 minute easy stroll to the old town and a short taxi drive 450000 vnd to the beach. There are numerous local restaurants and a small area a 3 minute walk up the street where banh mi and banh baos are readily available. Our room was upstairs overlooking the pool and had a balcony. It was large and clean with a comfortable bed with plenty of great pillows. There was also a wardrobe and a table and 2 chairs. The bathroom again was large with a huge shower that always had hot water. It was kept very clean with regular top ups on the shampoo and shower wash. The airconditioning was very efficient. The pool is well kept and lovely to return to when hot and sticky! There are 3 concrete sun loungers by the pool. Free bikes aavailable. Breakfast involved coffee, tea, juices, cereals,yoghurt and fruit as well as an egg station and several buffet options. The staff are very friendly and try very hard to ensure your stay is a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay, we were welcomed with a drink and kind staff. The room was very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom. The pool was an added bonus and the free bike rental.

Lee works the reception. She's warm, friendly, thoughtful, caring, very knowledgeable yet discreet. She makes sure you get all you need. Travel agent to us, she organized diligently, understanding our needs and desires perfectly, a trouble free (read fantastik!) tour in Halong Bay, booked us train tickets in and out of Ninh Binh, recommended hotels in Hanoi and scheduled our taxi to Da Nang airport. In short: Lee, and the staff at Truc Huy villa, are there, for ALL YOUR NEEDS.
