lovely garden once inside, owner couldn't have been more accommodating. clean and comfy bed close to great park and walking distance to all attractions (we walked to all) shopping all around and train station central just 1 km away

Having to walk 2 blocks to get breakfast was not good. Also very basic.

Perfect for two kids and two parents, with two bedrooms with bathrooms. No great view from windows, but great area, if you like the Termini area. We find it to be great and central, with a great mix of people, as it can be expected close to a central station. Graffiti and poor people, mixed with hip high-society and the roman pulse of the busy city. We ourselves lived close to central station in Copenhagen, Denmark for 8 years from 2001 to 2009, and loved it. It is about the same mix of people, with a roman touch. Traffic and people around the clock, but the apartment itself is quite mute, even if you can sense sirens and trains - but only charming city pulse in our mind, not too loud. Fair size combined kitchen and living room, suitable as base for eating out or simple cooking at home. Apartment, bedrooms and bathrooms quite new and good. Be aware that this is more like "bed and breakfast" than hotel. But very great people and instant answer on the chat. We arranged for pickup in the airport and also back to airport on return-date. Fair price and good service, by the nice people. For breakfast, roman style coffee and pastry at Espresso 32, just two minutes from apartment - again great service and very nice people. We loved it. We could definitely stay the same place, next time in Rome.

Service is excellent and extra friendly. Breakfast really Italian (juice, coffee and sweet bread). The only thing to add is I thought it was a hotel, but is kind of an AirBnb. Just to notice that.

The building is a short walk from a Metro station. There are several restaurants nearby, as well. The room was not big, but big enough for us. It was clean and comfortable. We parked on the street the first night for €11. A free space opened the next morning so we moved our car into it and let it sit for the final 2 nights.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Vanella Rome Domus from the 25h to the 31th of October 2019 with our family of four (two children 7+9 years old). Vanella is situated quite near the Termini station and also near the Metro which makes it easy and convinient to get around. Many of the sights are also easy to reach by taking a short walk. The area in which we lived can be referred to as "cosmopolitan" - a mixture of different nationalities. The neighbourhood might at first glance seem a bit rough but we never felt unsafe in any way. Nearby is a lovely food market with food from all over the world and several really good restaurants: Italian/Roman and also Indian just to mention some. What makes Vanella special is the great friendliness and hospitality of the host, Ion, who drove us from and to the airport and was most helpful in every way! The room is beautiful and clean and we were welcomed with fruit and sweets and Prosecco for the parents:) Lovely!
