How to buy

• Cost: A percentage of your flight ticket fare, excluding service fees and any add-ons. 
• Eligibility to cancel: You can cancel your ticket up to the specified number of hours before departure of the first leg and receive whichever is higher: a percentage of the fare (excluding service fees and add-ons) or the airline's eligible refund. For the complete cancellation policy applicable to your booking, please refer to your E-ticket.

• Cost: A percentage of your property booking, excluding any add-ons, the city tax and VAT.
• Eligibility to cancel:You can cancel your non-refundable stay booking up to the specified number of days before the check-in date and receive a partial refund of the paid booking amount (excluding any add-ons, city tax and VAT). For the complete cancellation policy applicable to your booking, please refer to your stay voucher.
• Cancellation Extension: You can extend your stay booking's cancellation period to up to the specified number of days before the check-in date and receive a partial refund of the paid booking amount (excluding any add-ons, city tax and VAT).

Cancellations & claims

• You can claim Cancellation Freedom with no extra documents or costs. However, eligibility depends on when you cancel.
• If the airline's or property's refund exceeds the Cancellation Freedom amount, you'll receive the higher refund.
• If you're ineligible for a refund under Cancellation Freedom or haven't purchased it, the airline's cancellation policy applies.
• If you earn any points (such as Wallet points, Qitaf, mokafaa or Fursan) on your booking, the standard Almosafer policy will apply when you cancel the booking.
• We will process the refund amount to the same payment source as your original payment, or credit it to your Wallet.

Miscellaneous

• In cases of force majeure or government travel bans, Almosafer may withhold Cancellation Freedom benefits. However, you will still be eligible for a refund according to the airline's policy where applicable.
• You can't use Cancellation Freedom benefits in conjunction with any other cancellation policy.
• Calculating the final refund amount will be according to the Cancellation Freedom policies and at the discretion of Almosafer.
• Almosafer reserves the right to decline ‘Cancellation Freedom’ benefits in case of any detected misuse or fraudulent activity.
• Almosafer reserves the right to change any of the Cancellation Freedom terms without prior notice.
