Lovely room in a great location - buses to other parts of the Lake District a short walk away, rail station very close as well, plus supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants galore. Debbie was super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Only a room with on suit shower, but 5* in my opinion. Spotlessly clean and the whole building not smelling of cooking or dogs on arrival. Beautifully decorated room with a small refrigerator and USB sockets near the bed head for charging a a small fan. Also very quiet. The normal coffee, tea and chocolate supplied, but with the difference of fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. Croissants, breakfast biscuits and cereal boxes too. Quite a pleasant surprise! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the duvet would have been warm enough at the top of mount Everest! Very high quality bedding too. All in all a satistifyng place to stay.
