By accessing and using the website and app, you agree to accept, without modification, limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions contained herein (the "Agreement"). You represent and warrant that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into this Agreement and to use the website and app in accordance with all terms and conditions herein.

Almosafer tries to ensure that the information contained on the website is as accurate as possible. However, inaccuracies may arise from time to time. The website and/or any of its sister companies accept no responsibility for any errors in the information contained on the Almosafer website.

The website contains information about the products and services Almosafer and/or any third party is offering. This information and all other material on the website are provided in good faith. By using the website you agree and acknowledge that the website may update, change or amend the Terms and Conditions and Customer Care Policy and/or other information provided on the website at any time without advance notice. Changed terms and conditions will become effective once posted on the website, and will not have any retrospective effect on existing contractual arrangements made through the website. You should read these terms and conditions every time you visit the website to ensure that you are aware of all the relevant terms and conditions. Accordingly, your continued access and use of the website after any change is deemed to be your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.

While the website uses all reasonable endeavours to make the website and associated services available, the website cannot guarantee that they will operate continuously or without interruption.

The website makes no representations or warranties, either expressed or implied, with respect to the website or the contents and, to the fullest extent permissible under the law, disclaims all such representations and warranties.

Your access to and use of software and other materials on, or through the website is solely at your own risk. The website makes no warranty whatsoever about the reliability, stability or virus-free nature of such software.

Subject to applicable law, under no circumstance is Almosafer and/or its Licensors and/or Suppliers and/or its Service Providers responsible for any direct or indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind (including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings or revenue, or loss or corruption of data or information) which arises out of or is in any way connected with your use of or inability to use the website whether based on breach of contract, tort, negligence, product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes any information, products or services obtained through or any contract entered into via the website, but excludes carriage by air performed by airlines in respect of any ticket obtained using the booking engine provided on the website, which is subject to the conditions of carriage and applicable international conventions.

When using the website you declare and agree:

  • To use it solely to determine the availability of products and services offered on the website and to assist you to make legitimate reservations or transact business with us. You agree to use the website only for personal, non-commercial use.
  • To use the website services to make only legitimate reservations.
  • You are at least 18 years of age and you possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation.
  • You will inform such other persons about the Terms of Use that apply to the reservations you have made on their behalf, including all rules and restrictions applicable thereto;
  • Not to make any false reservation or any reservation in anticipation of demand. The website may cancel, without notice, all confirmations associated with multiple reservations to one or more destination on or about the same date.
  • Not to deface, alter or interfere with the front end "look and feel" of the website or the underlying software code.
  • Not to take any action that may impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the website or related infrastructure.
  • To all of our terms and conditions of purchase, including, but not limited to, full and timely payment of all amounts due and compliance with all rules concerning availability of prices, products, or services. All fees, assessments, charges, taxes and duties arising out of use of the website are your sole responsibility.
  • Not to do anything which will or might damage, interfere with, disrupt access to, interrupt or impair the functionality of the material available on the website, nor to upload any material that contains any computer viruses or other codes, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any software or equipment.

  • Upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another computer.
  • Delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded.
  • Falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
  • Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests or chain letters, or download any file posted by another user of a forum that the User knows, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
  • Use this website or its contents for any commercial purpose;
  • Access, monitor or copy any content or information of this website using any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means or any manual process for any purpose without our express written permission;
  • Violate the restrictions in any robot exclusion headers on this website or bypass or circumvent other measures employed to prevent or limit access to this website;
  • Take any action that imposes, or may impose, in our discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
  • Deep-link to any portion of this website (including, without limitation, the purchase path for any travel services) for any purpose without our express written permission; or
  • ‘Frame’, ‘mirror’ or otherwise incorporate any part of this website into any other website without our prior written authorisation.
  • Not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share the following:
    • Information belonging to another person for which the user does not have any right.
    • Information that is hateful, grossly harmful including harmful to minors, paedophilia, invasive of others’ privacy, racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, encouraging money laundering or gambling.
    • Information that infringes any Patent, Trademark, Copyright or other Proprietary rights.
    • Information that deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature.
    • Information that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of the countries we operate in, friendly relations with foreign states or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or insults any other nation.
    • Information that impersonates another person.

If the website considers that you have breached any of these terms and conditions or have otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct when using the website, Almosafer reserves the right to:

  • Warn you that you have breached these terms and conditions, and ask you to stop such conduct;
  • Delete any material or content which you may have posted without notice to you;
  • Take measures (including terminating, suspending or restricting your access) to, and preventing you from using the website;
  • Cancel any bookings and/or reservations that you may have with Almosafer without reference to you;
  • Report your activities to an internet service provider or relevant authorities;
  • Take legal action against you.

All content of the Almosafer website is subject to copyright.

The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the website.

The website, sister companies’ names, and any other product or trade names of Almosafer referenced to the website are our trademarks and/or registered trademarks. Other product and company names mentioned herein may be the trademarks of their respective owners.

By using Almosafer mobile apps to access the Almosafer and/or any other sister Company Services (the "Mobile Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Almosafer website, herein this section, in addition to the rest of these Terms of Service. Your continued use of the Mobile Service is conditioned upon your compliance with these Mobile Terms.

By using the Mobile Service, you understand and agree that Almosafer has no obligation to maintain, support, upgrade, or update the Mobile Service, or to provide all or any specific content through the Mobile Service. You further understand and agree that we may access, collect, and use information, which may include personally identifiable information, which your mobile device automatically makes available to our mobile app, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

  • We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. You can make bookings on the website for passengers other than yourself.
  • We accept credit cards issued across various geographies. However, we may keep certain credit cards issued by certain countries blocked on our website / mobile apps during the booking process.
  • We accept debit cards that have been unlocked by the respective issuing banks to be used on e-commerce websites. In case your debit card does not work on the site / app kindly contact your issuing bank to get it activated. Banks may replace your old debit card with a new one that allows you to transact on e-commerce websites.
  • Your credit card / debit card will be debited when you click on the confirm button. The tickets shall be delivered to you to your registered email address once the payment has been confirmed by our payment gateway.
  • Disclaimer: Almosafer accepts no liability or responsibility and will not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, misuse or unauthorised access occurring in connection with the provision of credit / debit card data. Almosafer will not be responsible or liable for any action or decision made by you in reliance on the information with regard to credit / debit card usage on this website even if Almosafer has been advised of the possibility of these damages.

We will make every effort to maintain confidentiality when securing an online or mobile payment. This covers the security of your credit card details and other personal information. We do not store your credit/debit card data. All credit/debit card and payment information is secure, encrypted and handled by fully-certified payment providers.

If your booking or account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, the website may cancel any travel or service reservations associated with your name, email address, or account, and close any associated Almosafer accounts. If you have conducted any fraudulent activity, the website reserves the right to take any necessary Criminal and/or Civil legal action and you may be liable for monetary losses to the website, including litigation costs and damages. To contest the cancellation of a booking or freezing or closure of an account, please contact Almosafer Customer Care.

The website reserves the right to undertake all necessary steps to ensure that the security, safety and integrity of Almosafer’s systems, as well as its clients’ interests, are and remain, well-protected. Towards this end, Almosafer may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity, enforceability and validity of bookings placed by you.

If Almosafer, in its sole and exclusive discretion, concludes that the said transactions are not or do not reasonably appear to be authentic, enforceable or valid, then Almosafer may cancel the said bookings at any time before the scheduled time of departure of the relevant flight or before the expected date of visit to any property booked through Almosafer.

In the event that a refundable booking is made and subsequently cancelled, Almosafer reserves the right to impose a processing fee if the cancellation is determined to be abusive in nature. The processing fee will be 5% of the booking value and will be deducted from any refund due to the customer. Please note that the Almosafer's determination of what constitutes abusive cancellation behavior is at its sole discretion.

The carriage of passengers and their baggage by air will be subject to the Conditions of Carriage of the carrier concerned.

The carriage of passengers and their baggage may also be subject to the applicable Warsaw Convention 1929 or the Montreal Convention 1999, and other applicable legislation which may limit or stipulate the carrier's liability in certain circumstances.

As a condition of use of the Almosafer website, you agree to indemnify us from and against any and all liabilities, expenses (including attorney's fees) and damages arising out of claims resulting from your use of the website, including without limitation any claims alleging facts that, if true, would constitute a breach by you of these terms and conditions.

In no event will the website be liable to you for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, reliance, or exemplary damages (including without limitation lost business opportunities, lost revenues, or loss of anticipated profits or any other pecuniary or non-pecuniary loss or damage of any nature whatsoever) arising out of or relating to (i) this agreement, (ii) the services, the site or any reference site, or (iii) your use or inability to use the services, the site (including any and all materials) or any reference sites. In no event will the website or any of its contractors, directors, employees, agents, third-party partners, licensors or suppliers’ total liability to you for all damages, liabilities, losses, and causes of action arising out of or relating to (i) this Agreement, (ii) the Services, (iii) your use or inability to use the Services or the site (including any and all materials) or any reference sites, or (iv) any other interactions with the website, however caused and whether arising in contract, tort including negligence, warranty or otherwise, exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the portion of the Services or the Site giving rise to the cause of action or Two hundred Riyal (SAR 200), whichever is less.

The failure of the website to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be effective only if in writing and signed by Almosafer.

The website may contain links and pointers to internet sites maintained by third parties. The website does not operate or control in any respect any information, products or services on such third-party sites. Third-party links and pointers are included solely for your convenience, and do not constitute any endorsement by us.

You assume sole responsibility for use of third-party links and pointers.

How to reach almosafer:

Your use of the website and the terms and conditions is subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, the website reserves the right to bring proceedings to the courts of the country of your location.

Almosafer may provide you with notices and communications by email, regular mail or postings on the site or by any other reasonable means. Except as otherwise set forth herein, notice to the website must be sent by courier or registered mail to the website’s registered office at Takhasussi Street, Riyadh, KSA.

Kolet eSIM T&Cs:

  • The service includes a free eSIM with a limited amount of data (up to 1 gigabyte - GB) for a limited amount of time (48 hours from the moment the user downloads their first megabyte - MB). 
  • The offer is valid if the activation of the eSIM is done within 7 days from the beginning of Almosafer’s service (travel start date) via our partner Kolet SAS and its mobile application.

You can book for a limited number of travellers per transaction on the website. As we have a wide range of offerings, each offering may limit the maximum number. Infant-only bookings cannot be made online and unaccompanied minor bookings also need to be made via our call centre or our offices.

All reservations, including modifications and cancellations are subject to the Terms and Conditions, Customer Care Policy and General Conditions of Carriage.

Some destinations booked through the Almosafer website might require a visa. Obtaining such visas is the responsibility of the traveller. You must also have a valid passport with an expiry date that's accepted in all the countries you're planning to visit. More information on passport and visa requirements is available at the embassy of the destination you're travelling to.

The displayed fares may not include individual charges such as departure taxes, airport taxes, and passenger service charges. These charges are imposed by the airport or the aeronautical authorities of the countries you are visiting. You will be required to pay them directly to the charging authorities. These shall be communicated at the time of booking.

You are also advised to check with your doctor whether you are required to undergo immunisation prior to entry or stopover in the countries to and through which you will be travelling. Some countries require that you have adequate travel insurance. It is your responsibility to ascertain these requirements and to fulfill such requirements.

Providing you with access to view and book different kinds of temporary accommodations such as hotels, hotel apartments, villas, B&Bs, and hostels, Almosafer (will be referred to as Almosafer or ‘the website’ or ‘the company’ in future references) can be accessed through the mobile site, smartphone applications for iOS, Android and Windows.

If you decide to make a reservation through Almosafer, you are agreeing to the price stated as well as the terms and conditions mentioned on the website. Once the reservation is confirmed by the accommodation you have chosen, a confirmation email that includes the voucher (for prepaid accommodations) will be sent from Almosafer to the email used to make the booking. Almosafer reserves the right to reject bookings as set out in the ‘Right to cancel’ section below.

Information provided by Almosafer is sourced from numerous suppliers and accommodations. While Almosafer will take the utmost care to ensure that the most up-to-date information is displayed, we cannot guarantee that it will always be accurate and complete, as prices and other factors are subject to change and availability.

Prices displayed typically include service fees and taxes. The price breakdown is also displayed on the payment page of the booking. Some accommodations may have additional charges that have to be paid directly at the property - such as city tax, tourism fee, security deposit, resort fee, etc. - and these are not included in the total booking amount. In some cases, these will be mentioned on the accommodation details page under “Mandatory fees”.

The accommodation classification is based on the country's local standards. These standards can differ from one country to another. Sometimes, this classification is used as a general guide instead of an official rating. Customers need to understand that standards can vary between accommodations of the same class in different countries, as well as within the same country. They should also be aware that in some cases, the classification may be based on self-assessment by the accommodations. As a consequence, Almosafer does not guarantee the accuracy of accommodation classification and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, does not accept any liability in relation to the classification displayed on the website.

Almosafer reserves the right not to accept customers or bookings (or to cancel confirmed bookings in extreme cases) at its own discretion and for whatever legal reason without the need to justify such refusal. Typical reasons for rejecting a customer or a booking include, but are not limited to:

  • Breach of Almosafer’s terms and conditions
  • Accommodation closure
  • Incorrect rate
  • Force majeure events
  • Trade or economic sanctions
  • Embargoes, legal restrictions
  • Fraud or theft
  • Suspected criminal activity
  • Submission of misleading or erroneous information
  • Credit card problems
  • Inappropriate behaviour
  • Threats or insults

If a booking is rejected or cancelled by Almosafer and a payment has already been made, the total booking value will be refunded.

We also reserve the right to bar (or “blacklist”) users from Almosafer’s website and app, on a temporary or permanent basis, with no prior notice. Any such blacklisted users must not attempt to use the website and app under any other name or through any other user.

Almosafer might also be forced to reject or cancel bookings due to 'obvious errors'. An obvious error is a mistake found on the website or app related to the booking prices that a customer might not consider being 'obvious'. Almosafer is entitled to reject or cancel any booking where this error is applicable with no prior notice. In such cases, the amount charged will be reimbursed.

Please be aware that all the prices mentioned on website and app are based on the dates and number of guests requested (unless indicated otherwise). Almosafer will typically display the rate inclusive of tax recovery and service charges (see below for more details) on the website and app, and display these additional tax recovery and service charges during the booking path.

The final amount a customer is requested to pay will be stated clearly before finalising the booking. A detailed view of the payment will be shown before the booking is confirmed. Please verify every step of your reservation on the booking form.

What is included in the rate is displayed on the website and app (under the room selection section or prior to the final booking confirmation) and/or in the confirmation email/voucher.

The standard accommodation room reservations include single, double or triple occupancy. Extra beds will usually come with extra charges unless stated otherwise. Please be sure to notify the accommodation in advance if there are additional guests because the accommodation reserves the right to reject last-minute guests.

Insurance of any kind is not included in the rates.

Certain accommodations may charge an additional yet mandatory “resort fee” or occupancy tax (when applicable) for using certain services. This resort fee is collected directly from the guest and typically will not be included in the price offered on the website and app. However, it'll be mentioned in the provided accommodation description.

Taxability, the appropriate tax rate and the type of applicable taxes vary greatly by location and can change without prior notice.

The accommodation might also directly charge you on factors that include electricity, baggage handling, newspapers delivery, tourism and housekeeping. These charges are not controlled by Almosafer and are usually applied in certain markets such as the USA. However, optional fees that include minibar charges, parking, room service, movie rentals, the internet, food, beverages, and phone usage are almost never applied.

During certain high season periods, certain accommodations may make it mandatory for guests to purchase tickets for a gala dinner or event being hosted at the accommodation (e.g. for New Year, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.). Such charges might not be included in the room rates and will need to be paid directly at the property. In some cases, it may be listed under ‘Mandatory fees’ on the accommodation details page.

For certain accommodations, a transportation or transfer fee will be added to the room rate at the request of the accommodation, or if you request any transportation services. This is common for island destinations such as the Maldives, where you need transportation to reach the accommodation. Please note that Almosafer does not organise any transportation service at the moment. This is always organised and offered by or on behalf of the accommodation, which is responsible for such transportation services. Almosafer does not assume any liability for the quality, safety, frequency or service levels of such transportation services.

To offer more choice and better flexibility for your convenience, you might find that some rooms may have different options of when the payment for the booking is made, whether it is immediately or at a later date before the check-in date (‘Pay later’). Room options that can be paid for later will mention the following: ‘Pay later option available’. In this case, you’ll have the option to either pay later before the check-in date or right away. The ‘Pay later’ option is available on both the Almosafer website and app.

If you choose to pay immediately, the total amount of the booking will be deducted at the time of the booking in the currency the website offers (See the Currency Conversion section below for more info). Please note that your card must be valid and have sufficient funds in order to complete the booking. Some Almosafer vouchers are not valid for hotel bookings made using the ‘Pay later’ option and can only be redeemed with bookings that are paid for immediately.

Once you use the ‘Pay later’ option to make a reservation, your booking is secured with the hotel. In order to confirm your booking, you must complete full payment of the booking amount before the due date specified on your confirmation email and on the booking page. Payments can be processed via the link in your email, on web, through the app or directly through our call centre via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

Based on the web or app country selected, you will be charged in the local currency of the respective country.

Any currency that does not correspond to the local currency of the point of sale is for display purposes only. You will be charged in the local currency above. However, should you decide to pay with a credit card from a foreign bank institution, additional charges may apply, according to your bank’s policy.

You can view and book different kinds of alternative accommodations such as chalets and istirahas.

If you decide to make a reservation through Almosafer, you are agreeing to the price stated as well as the terms and conditions mentioned on the app and the website. Once you complete your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher. Almosafer reserves the right to reject bookings as set out in the ‘Right to cancel’ section below.

 

Information found on Almosafer is provided by the property. While Almosafer will take the utmost care to ensure that the most up-to-date information is displayed, we cannot guarantee that it will always be accurate and complete, as prices and other factors are subject to change and availability. 

 

Prices displayed are inclusive of taxes. The price breakdown is also displayed on the payment page of the booking. Some accommodations may have additional charges, such as a security deposit (refundable upon check-out), that have to be paid directly at the property and these are not included in the total booking amount. In the event of any disputes between you and the host, the host is entitled to keep the security deposit. 

There is a section called ‘House rules’ under each property which lists down a set of rules for the specific property that have been set by the host. We recommend you to read and understand them before you make a booking. By making a booking, you’re agreeing to the house rules defined by the host. Almosafer will not be responsible for any disputes that may arise or any penalties set by the host in the event of any non-compliance of the rules.

 

You may be required to pay a security deposit (refundable upon check-out) to the host before checking in. The security deposit amount is variable and is set by the host for the specific property. This deposit will be held by the host in case of any disputes or damages to the property. Almosafer will not be responsible for any penalties set by the host, in the event of any disputes, damages to the property or any non-compliance of the house rules defined by the host. Almosafer does not intervene in any disputes that arise between you and the host and must be resolved between the parties concerned. 

Check-in and check-out times are set by the hosts and typically cannot be changed. However, after your booking has been confirmed, you can get in touch with the host directly and request for an early check-in or late check-out.  If you are booking for more than one day, the check-out time may vary depending on certain factors. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Once the booking is confirmed, a binding contract is formulated between you and the host.

 

The total amount of the booking will be deducted at the time of the booking. Please note that your card must be valid and have sufficient funds in order to complete the booking. 

You are required to follow all the COVID-19 precautionary measures and rules that are in compliance with the existing rules set by the government of Saudi Arabia. 

Bookings for all properties are only partially refundable and a cancellation fee will apply if you cancel a booking. You will be charged anywhere between 5% to 50% of the booking value (as set by the host).

The cancellation policy and any other rules, standards or requirements identified in the property or during check-out form part of your contract with the host. 

If you had to cancel a booking due to reasons outside your control, other policies may take precedence over the cancellation policy and determine the amount that is refunded to you. If something exceptional or unforeseeable beyond your control forces you to cancel a reservation, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund under Extenuating Circumstances including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents or pandemics.

If the host cancels after you make your booking, you will get the full refund to the same mode of payment used during the booking. You will also be given an option to get the refund amount credited to your Almosafer Wallet as points that can be redeemed on future bookings.

  2. Cancellations are typically accepted up to 7 days prior to departure, but it may depend on the package. The policy may vary across different packages so please refer to the specific package’s cancellation policy before booking.
  3. The flight part & insurance for the holiday package are non-refundable after the booking is paid and confirmed.
  4. Whether a package is refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable depends on its cancellation policy. However, in most cases, the following rules apply depending on the date of cancellation:
    Land services (Hotel, Transfers, Tours & Excursions):
    • Fully refundable up to 14 days prior to departure date.
    • Subject to a fee of 50% of the total amount from 7 to 14 days prior to departure date.
    • Subject to a fee of 100% of the total amount from less than 7 days prior to departure date.
    • Subject to a fee of 100% of the total amount in case of no show and early departure.
  5. Rates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  6. The flight timings may result in you arriving early or departing late from your hotel. Our travel consultants will let you know flight times when you book so you can make suitable arrangements.
  7. Almosafer reserves the right to modify or change the hotel in your reservation to another hotel from the same category in any force majeure cases (overbooking, blackout dates).
  8. All flights are subject to the airline’s conditions of carriage.
  9. Almosafer does not take any responsibility on the VISA services for packages. The customer needs to ensure that he/she is carrying relevant immigration documents on his/her own.

Value added tax (VAT) is a tax on the consumption or use of goods and services levied at the point of sale. This form of indirect tax is applicable from 1st January 2018, on selected products and services that can be purchased on our website, as per the KSA law. We accept Qitaf points as payment for hotel and flight bookings. Qitaf is Saudi Telecom Company’s (stc) loyalty programme that allows you to pay using and earn Qitaf points on purchases. By opting to earn or pay using Qitaf points on Almosafer, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms & conditions:

  • Qitaf points can be earned and used to pay for both hotel and flight bookings.
  • You can only earn or pay using points with a Qitaf-registered mobile number.
  • You will only earn Qitaf points after you complete your trip or stay. If the points do not reflect in your Qitaf account within 48 hours of completing your trip/stay, kindly contact our travel advisors.
  • If you're a non-stc user, you can use a mobile number by any other telecom service provider in Saudi Arabia while booking to earn points. After approximately 24 hours of completing your trip/stay, you'll receive an SMS from stc with the link to register for the Qitaf programme. The link is only valid for 30 days, so please make sure you register before that. You will receive your points within 48 hours of completing your trip/stay as long as you’ve registered. Please note that to pay using Qitaf points, you must use a Qitaf-registered number.
  • If your booking fails while you’re trying to make the payment, the Qitaf points that you used for the transaction will be returned to your Qitaf account within 1 hour.
  • If you cancel your booking, the points you used to pay for the transaction will not be returned to your Qitaf account. Instead, the equivalent value will be added as Wallet points to your Almosafer Wallet that you can use on future hotel and flight bookings. If you have paid partially by Qitaf and partially by card, the amount you paid by card will be refunded. The amount paid using Qitaf points will be added to your Almosafer Wallet. The Wallet points will be valid for 12 months from the time they’re added to your account. Please note that you cannot earn points on cancelled bookings.
  • Almosafer will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, misuse or unauthorised access occurring in connection with Qitaf payments or any action or decision made by you in reliance on the information with regard to Qitaf usage on the Almosafer website and app.

ALFURSAN is SAUDIA’s frequent flyer programme that rewards customers with ALFURSAN reward miles on purchases. You can earn ALFURSAN reward miles on all hotel bookings made on Almosafer. You can also earn ALFURSAN bonus reward miles on Saudi Arabian Airlines’ (SAUDIA) flight bookings during select promotional periods. By opting to earn miles on Almosafer bookings, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms & conditions:

Hotels

  • ALFURSAN reward miles can be earned on all hotel bookings made on Almosafer.
  • You will only earn ALFURSAN reward miles after you complete your stay and it may take up to 14 days for the miles to reflect in your ALFURSAN account.
  • The reward miles will be calculated on the base price, excluding VAT, city tax and service fee (if any).
  • If you have used a voucher code or an auto-applied discount for your booking, the miles will be calculated on the base price prior to discount application.


Flights

  • ALFURSAN bonus reward miles can only be earned on flights booked with SAUDIA on Almosafer and only during select promotional periods. These miles will be in addition to the regular frequent flyer miles you may earn on your booking. Please note that you have to enter your ALFURSAN membership number in the traveller’s details page to earn regular frequent flyer miles, and to earn bonus reward miles, you have to enter the number again on the payment page.
  • For domestic flight bookings with mixed carrier options (e.g. return trips where the outbound flight is with SAUDIA and inbound flight is with another airline), you will only receive bonus miles for the leg flown with SAUDIA. In the case of international mixed carrier options, you will not get bonus miles; All legs in the itinerary must be operated by SAUDIA for the booking to be eligible for bonus miles.
  • You will only earn bonus ALFURSAN reward miles after you complete your trip and it may take up to 14 days for the miles to reflect in your ALFURSAN account.
  • The bonus reward miles will be calculated on the base fare, excluding the service fees, VAT or any additional charges incurred, such as for extra baggage.
  • If you have used a voucher code or an auto-applied discount for your booking, the miles will be calculated on the base fare prior to discount application.


General

  • ALFURSAN reward miles cannot be earned on holiday package bookings.
  • You must have an ALFURSAN membership with SAUDIA to be able to earn these miles.
  • If you cancel your booking, you will not receive ALFURSAN reward miles.
  • If you only cancel part of your booking (for e.g. reducing the number of nights for your hotel stay or cancelling one leg of a flight), you will only be awarded miles for the part of your booking that is still confirmed.
  • You cannot earn ALFURSAN reward miles in conjunction with other loyalty programmes. Only one loyalty transaction is allowed per booking. For example, you cannot earn ALFURSAN reward miles along with Qitaf points or earn miles on bookings paid for using Qitaf points.
  • In case you forget or are unable to choose the option to earn ALFURSAN reward miles when booking online or via our app, you still have a chance to earn by contacting our customer support team after completing the booking or directly placing your request via our Rewards Request Form.
  • Almosafer will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, misuse or unauthorised access occurring in connection with earning ALFURSAN reward miles or any action or decision you make based on the information available on the Almosafer website and app about ALFURSAN reward miles.

Almosafer Wallet is a convenient way to earn and redeem points on hotel and flight bookings. It acts as a virtual storage for your points that you can use to fully or partially pay for future bookings.

Every now and then, Almosafer will roll out offers that give Wallet points. In certain offers, you may get a split-voucher code that you can use to get an instant discount on your current booking in addition to points that will be added to your Wallet. Other offers may only give Wallet points without a discount. You can use these special voucher codes to earn points on your booking.

The points you earn will be added to your Wallet and displayed in the equivalent SAR value. Every point earned equals SAR 1.

You can use your Wallet points balance to pay for future hotel and flight bookings.

By opting to earn or redeem Wallet points on Almosafer bookings, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms & conditions:

Earning Wallet points:

  • Points can be earned on the KSA version of our website and app as well as through our call centre, branches or WhatsApp number.
  • On our website and app, you can earn Wallet points on flight bookings that are paid for immediately, and hotel bookings with both payment options: Pay later and pay immediately.
  • In our branches and via our call centre or WhatsApp number, you can earn Wallet points on other services too, such as holiday packages and transfers.
  • You must use the special voucher code when making your booking to be able to earn points.
  • If you're signed in when making the booking, you will receive the points in your Wallet immediately after you complete the booking (and upon payment for hotel bookings made using the ‘pay later’ option).
  • If you don’t have an account when making the booking, you will not be able to earn Wallet points immediately. However, once you create an account with the same email address or mobile number you used for your booking and verify it, we will automatically link your previous orders so you will earn your Wallet points as well.
  • If you have an unverified account and are not signed in when making the booking, you will receive the points as soon as you verify your account.
  • If you have a verified account but are not signed in when making the booking, you can go to your Wallet in the My Account/Profile section and claim your points by following the link that says ‘Claim them now’.
  • Please note that for hotel bookings made using the ‘pay later’ option, you will only receive the points after you have completed the payment.
  • Bookings paid for by Wallet points are not eligible to earn Wallet points.
  • In most cases, when earning Wallet points, you are not eligible to earn rewards from loyalty programmes for e.g. ALFURSAN miles or Qitaf points. You also can’t redeem Qitaf points. However, you are able to earn both Wallet points and ALFURSAN miles in the case of special ALFURSAN + Wallet combined promotions by using the special voucher code assigned to that promotion while booking.
  • You cannot use multiple voucher codes in a booking or earn Wallet points in conjunction with auto-applied discounts.
  • Every promotion that you can earn Wallet points through has a set expiry date for the points, which will be conveyed in the offer. You will not be able to use the points after the expiry date.
  • Points are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

Redeeming/pay using Wallet points:

  • Points can be redeemed on the KSA version of our website and app as well as through our call centre, branches or WhatsApp number.
  • On our website and app, you can only redeem Wallet points on flight bookings and hotel bookings that are paid for immediately. Wallet points cannot be redeemed on hotel bookings made using the ‘Pay later’ option.
  • In our branches and via our call centre or WhatsApp number, you can redeem Wallet points towards other services too, such as holiday packages and transfers.
  • When making a booking, you must be logged in and your account must be verified. If you aren’t logged in and your account isn’t verified, the Wallet will not appear on the payment page as a payment option and you will not be able to redeem any points.
  • Wallet points cannot be used in conjunction with a voucher code or auto-applied discounts.
  • Bookings paid for by Wallet points are not eligible to earn Wallet points.
  • Bookings paid for by Wallet points are not eligible to earn rewards, such as ALFURSAN miles or Qitaf points.
  • If you are using Wallet points to pay for a booking, you cannot redeem Qitaf points.
  • Points are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They can only be redeemed towards bookings on Almosafer.
  • Bookings can be paid in full by Wallet points if you have sufficient balance. If you do not have enough balance to cover the total booking amount, the remaining amount will have to be paid by another payment method. On our website or app, you can pay the remaining amount by card or Apple Pay (on iOS). If you are making the booking through our branch, you can pay by card, cash or bank transfer. And via our call centre and WhatsApp, you can pay by card or bank transfer.
  • If your booking total has decimals e.g. SAR 1000.50, then points used will be rounded as follows:
    • If .50 or greater than .50 - round up. An extra point will be deducted from your Wallet balance (as per the above example, you will be charged 1001 points)
    • If .49 or less than .49 - round down. The remaining decimal amount will be covered by Almosafer (as per the above example, you will be charged 1,000 points and Almosafer will take care of the remaining amount)

 

Cancellations and amendments

  • If you cancel a booking that you paid for using Wallet points and the booking is eligible for a refund as per its cancellation policy, the points you used will be refunded to your Wallet after deducting cancellation and service fees. Wallet points can only be refunded to the originally used Wallet and are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Refunded points have a validity of three months from the date of refund, if not mentioned otherwise.
  • If you cancel a booking that you had earned Wallets points on, you will not be able to use those points and they will automatically appear as cancelled in your transaction history. If you have already redeemed the Wallet points you had earned on the booking that you cancel, we reserve the right to deduct the redeemed amount from your refundable amount as a penalty.
  • Bookings with a non-refundable cancellation policy are not eligible for refunds, regardless of the payment method.
  • Any booking amendments cannot be paid for using Wallet points.

 

General T&Cs

  • Almosafer reserves the right to amend or cancel this programme at its sole discretion.

Convert mokafaa points

mokafaa is the loyalty programme of Al Rajhi Bank that allows you to earn points when you make purchases using your Al Rajhi bank products.

You can convert your mokafaa points to Almosafer Wallet points, which can be redeemed on bookings made on Almosafer.

By opting to convert mokafaa points to Almosafer Wallet points, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following terms & conditions:

  • You must be enrolled in the AlRajhi mokafaa loyalty programme to be able to convert your mokafaa points to Almosafer Wallet points.
  • You must sign up with Almosafer & verify your account to be able to convert your mokafaa points to Almosafer Wallet points.
  • You must enter your mokafaa-registered mobile number to verify the conversion.
  • 250 mokafaa points = SAR 1

The conversion rate is solely at the discretion of AlRajhi and is subject to change.

A convenience fee of 2% is applied every time mokafaa points are converted to Wallet points. This fee is subject to change at the sole discretion of Almosafer.

  • You can only convert mokafaa points that are equivalent to SAR 100, SAR 300, SAR 500 and SAR 1,000 Almosafer Wallet points.
  • You must have mokafaa points balance that is equal to or higher than the selected conversion amount to be able to complete the conversion.
  • Once you convert your mokafaa points to Almosafer Wallet points, they cannot be reversed.
  • The earned Wallet points are only valid for 1 year from the date of conversion and the validity cannot be extended.
  • Earned points are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • All mokafaa and Almosafer Wallet terms and conditions apply.

 

Earn mokafaa points

  • You can earn 15 mokafaa points on every SAR 1 spent on hotel and Chalets+ bookings.
  • You can earn 5 mokafaa points on every SAR 1 spent on flight bookings.
  • For app & web bookings : You must enter your mokafaa-registered mobile number on the payment page to earn mokafaa points.

    For offline bookings : You can share your mokafaa-registered mobile number with our travel advisor before the booking is confirmed.

  • You cannot earn mokafaa points when you use a voucher code or earn/redeem Qitaf or Wallet points.
  • You must be enrolled in the AlRajhi mokafaa loyalty programme to be able to earn mokafaa points.
  • You can earn points across all Almosafer KSA omni-channel touchpoints, including web, app, WhatsApp, call centre and retail branches.
  • You can earn points only on bookings that are paid for immediately.
  • Offer valid till 31 August 2022.
  • The validity of the earned points is as per standard mokafaa terms and conditions.
  • You will receive your mokafaa points within 14 days from the date of check-in or departure.
  • If you do not receive your mokafaa points within 14 days from the date of check-in or departure, kindly reach out to our travel advisors.
  • You will not be able to earn points if you cancel the booking.
  • Almosafer and Al Rajhi reserve the right to amend or cancel this offer at their sole discretion.
