This property hosts an optional New Year’s Eve gala dinner for guests staying on December 31, 2026. Guests who wish to attend will be asked to pay additional fees as follows: USD 400 per adult booked in Breakfast rate plans; USD 350 per adult booked in Half Board Plus, Full Board Plus or All-Inclusive rate plans. Fees are collected at the property. This property provides shared speedboat transfers directly from the airport upon arrival, covered by the listed airport shuttle fee. Mandatory Return Speedboat Transfers: USD 180 net per person
As per the amendments to the Tourism Act issued by the Maldivian Government, applicable to all travellers arriving in the Maldives from 1 January 2025, the green tax payable by travellers upon arrival at hotels (including tourist resorts, tourist hotels, hotels, tourist guest houses, tourist vessels) has been increased from USD 6.00 to USD 12.00 per person per day.
Travellers staying in tourist guesthouses and hotels on inhabited islands with 50 (fifty) rooms or less will pay USD 6.00 per person.
Kindly note that import of all vape products and individual parts of vape devices is to be made illegal from November 15, 2024, onwards. Additionally, the use, possession, production, sale, advertisement, and distribution of all vape products will be banned from December 15, 2024.
Travellers cannot bring cigarettes of any amount while arriving to the Maldives.
But they allow a packet (1 packet) which is used and in your hand. (Not a carton).
Tax Updates at VAT/Tax/Charges
1. [Goods & services tax] - Tourism Goods and Services Tax (TGST) 17% for stay periods beginning July 1, 2025, onward.
2. [Environmental fee] - Green Tax USD 12 per person per night for stay periods beginning January 1, 2025, onward.
We would like to remind you that Centara Ras Fushi is an adult-oriented resort, and we regret we do not permit children aged below 18 years on the island. The resort reserves the right to cancel/deny the check-in of the guest if the age is below 18 years.
Please avoid carrying any insects, animals and plants. They can carry pests or become invasive themselves, which is harmful to the local environment and species. It is strictly prohibited by Maldives Environment Law.
