The room was absolutely dissapointing, Pool was dirty, fridge not opersting door missinf from room, steep hill to get to reception. Not suitable for anyine wishing to have a holiday.I paid 3636.00 for nine nights and never received a refund.
Upon arrival there were many issues. I was very upset. My experience started like this.
1st, I checked in and right away they charged me 2000 “security deposit” then asked to pay for my stay, but I had already paid through Travelocity. After going back and forth they confirmed I had paid.
2nd, they put me in a van and took me to my room 5 minutes away. The girl had like 40 keys and she tried every key and couldn’t open the door. A lady opens the door semi naked. They didn’t know someone was staying there. The lady in the room looked mad and said “the phone doesn’t work, I asked for towels three hrs ago and no one brought them yet.“ So then they told me to wait, the girl left, and came back and said “we are going to put you in another room.” (The room they put me in had insect issues and the guest was moved). There were no towels, phone didn’t work (you had to take a 7 minute hike to the front desk), and the tv did not work.
3rd, they offered free bfast, but it was already included with my reservation. I asked for it at 7 but didn’t bring it until 9.
4th, I went on a trip and when I came back the door was locked and couldn’t access my room. When they opened the main door I found my belongings on a pile outside the room. They said I could stay and 5 minutes later they kicked me out and took me to another room. I paid for ocean view but all you could see was trees.
5th, first 2 days were a nightmare, last 3 were good. Friendly staff, nice room amenities.

We were disappointed with our stay. The location is not amazing it’s right at the top of a very steep hill so there’s is literally nothing to do especially at night time,a unless you want to be spending lots on taxis. However this did mean the views were great from the pool in our room.
The hotel services were not as advertised either. There was no WiFi in our room, we raised this with reception but they just said there is but will look into it tomorrow not ideal when your checking out tomorrow. We were around a 2/3 minute walk from reception so I believe we were just too far for the WiFi to reach, considering all of our party couldn’t connect to WiFi. They also advertised in the listing as having spa services, they were no existent and seemed to be under renovation, yet this was not stated in the listing and no compensation provided.
We paid for an American Breakfast Set, which cost 300 baht. It was very disappointing and not as described. Selection of fruit was just watermelon, it arrived cold, things were missing/wrong, didn’t really resemble an American breakfast - why was there salad? Overall do not recommend getting the breakfast over priced and bad quality so bring breakfast items with you.
Most of the hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. However we were not happy being called twice and woken up at half 12 in the morning by reception regarding paying a mini bar bill they had forgotten to give us for 150 baht. Very annoyed as had given 1000 deposit.
Don’t stay here. We had a 3 bedroom pool villa and there wasn’t one thing we liked. The lack of toilet paper, towels, hand towels, robes, tissues, menu or folder of hotel options & services, outdoor furniture etc I can almost accept. But the lack of hotel hygiene and cleanliness and rude and aggressive attitude from the manager and owner is unacceptable from any hotel in the world.
I requested a refund after finding the disgusting conditions of the room. The main few issues that turned me off staying here was blood on the bathroom wall, hair on the floors and tic like insects on the kitchen bench to only name a few. This is obviously the standard set by the hotel and having 3 kids with me I wanted out ASAP. The hotel refused any refund and became quite aggressive towards me. I paid $1300 for 3 nights and left after 1 even though I was going to be $860 out of pocket.
Also don’t be fooled by the pool aspect of the 3 bedroom pool villa as the pool is only knee deep. The view however was quite good and I feel for some of the staff as they were quite nice.
The hotel have of course denied all these claims but they can’t deny the pics that I’ve already forwarded to Expedia. And thanks to Expedia who have agreed to a partial refund.
I spent the remaining nights at Remada in Patong which was absolutely amazing in comparison
