Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Cincinnati NE/Mason

When checking in, the front desk woman gave us keys and a room number. When we went to the room we were assigned, we opened the door and the room still had occupants inside with unmade beds and trash all over. Went back to the desk, and she reprogrammed our keys to the room next door instead. The TV was unplugged from the wall, as well as the cable. There was coffee provided but no coffee maker. There was a kitchenette wirh a random old knife in the drawer. There was gross brown water damage coming from the fuse box on the wall. The bathroom was FILTHY. There was no trash can in the bathroom. There was a bible with an old check and an other pieces in it. Overall, very very dirty and unsanitary. We were not informed of breakfast times during check in, and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. The building reeked of smoke/marijuana. All of the doors were supposed to be white but appeared a different color due to the dirt and grime that was all over it. There was no working light in the entrance of the room. There was a random extension cord from one side of the room to the next for “accessibility”. The beds were not properly made, the sheets were half off the corners and the bed skirts were tucked up under the beds. The drawers to the randomly placed nightstands were broken and crooked. Overall, not any place I would recommend to anyone. Very disgusted and not impressed with the state of this hotel.

The room was dirty, the shower did not work properly. The new staff is rude. We have stayed here several times and the only reason we came back was the price on the 2 bedroom suite. Other than price this place is trash.

First, let me say that all of the staff was so nice. Now onto the bad things it was filthy. I had to go buy sanitize wipes to clean everything. If I had a broom and a vacuum, I would’ve cleaned all the floors. We had friends that were staying here as well. They walked into their room and they immediately went back to the desk and said we are not staying here. I will never stay here again. In my opinion, it should be closed down.

Had a good stay. The suite with two rooms was good but completely clean. Over all if you just plan on sleeping and spending a whole day out especially to Kings Island.
