Kata Ocean View Residences

When we arrived at the evening they were no one at the reception and when we called them they didnt answer. We got help from a hotel nearby and the called someone that should come and help us. He could barely speak any english at all. After around three hours we got a apartment to sleep in for the night. We had booked two apartments and we got one! Had to sleep six people in a four people apartment. On top of that it was not even close to what the pictures on the website looked at. We had booked a bigger and more luxorious apartment with jacuzzi on the balcony. The apartment was dirty, no sheets in the bed and dirty and broken towels. When we talked to hotels.com support they even called the hotel and when they started to ask what the problem was they hung up on them and now they refuse to answer. We are trying to get our money back but that will probably not happen. DONT GO TO KATA OCEAN VIEW RESIDANCE.

Very clean and nice studio. There is a small kitchen very useful. The hotel is a bit far from the beach, but u can rent a motorbike in a place next to the hotel. I recommended the hotel if u are looking for a quit and relaxing holidays.

The room was excellent, love the kitchen, the pool, the place, the curve samsung tv, the wifi. They need to work on their service staff, i can see one of them are the best, i did not get her name. And the who take the extra effort to ride the bike to send me to kata beach, there are two of them. The office staff dis not tell me one of the day there is no shuttle bus, and i waited about 30 minutes for it. The downside of it is the location, if ur hungry, there is a restaurant vegan, u need to know how to ride a bike, if not u need to walk maybe 15 minutes to neares family mart but short cut route ya. I reported that that somebody need to see the fan as it not working, until i check out, nothing seems to be done.

It wasn’t easy to communicate with the management through the Expedia chat. But overall, they were very listening and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Overall a great stay. If I had to feedback on the details, wish the water heater was more efficient? Comfortable and clean room with a nice view of the sunset and ocean. The check-in could have been improved too. I walked into the reception room and the ladies who worked there look ‘surprised’ with my presence. It wasn’t until the Turkish manager appeared and brought me to my room. I thought the keycode to the room door could be more secure too? The code is just the number of the room entered twice. Was afraid if my neighbors could just enter my room without my presence. Thank you.

I visited for a 13 night stay with my family. The rooms were cleaned daily as well equipped. The views are amazing. The pool was also clean and close by.
