SALT of Palmar, an adult-only boutique Hotel

Unser Aufenthalt im Salt of Palmar war unvergesslich. Bereits beim Check-In wurde man so herzlich von den Mitarbeitenden in Empfang genommen und bekam ein leckeres Getränk zur Begrüßung. Neben der Liebe zum Detail, mit der das Hotel gestaltet wurde, muss man besonders die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden - vom Housekeeping, über die Service- und Spamitarbeitende sowie das Küchenpersonal - erwähnen. Wirklich alle sind so bemüht, dem Gast jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abzulesen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem gemütlichen und stylischem Boutique-Hotel ist, ist hier genau richtig. Alle Mahlzeiten kann man a la carte bestellen, beim Frühstück gibt es zusätzlich leckere Backwaren aus der hauseigenen Bäckerei die einen morgens schon duftend begrüßen. Auch nachmittags kann man Snacks wie Brownies, Waffeln oder Crêpes bestellen. Neben dem Hauptrestaurant gibt es zudem ein weiteres Restaurant, was wir jedoch nicht getestet haben. Einmal die Woche verwöhnt die Küche die Gäste mit einem mauritanischem Dinner. Neben dem Gym hat das Hotel ein Boathouse am Strand, wo man als Gast kostenlos Schnorcheln oder an Touren mit dem Glassbottemboat teilnehmen kann. Sehr zu empfehlen! Zudem werden einige Aktivitäten seitens des Hotels angeboten, wie Yoga, Kochkurse etc. und auch Taxifahrer für Unternehmungen auf der Insel werden vermittelt. Liegen am Strand und Pool waren immer verfügbar und es gab zum Glück keine Liegenmafia. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und den Urlaub sehr genossen.

The hotel is a true sanctuary, with elegant design, beautifully landscaped surroundings, and breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon that create an unforgettable setting. What truly sets this property apart is its exceptional service. Every member of the team was gracious, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring our stay was flawless. Their warmth, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to every detail made us feel valued and effortlessly cared for throughout our visit. The surroundings are simply spectacular. The tranquil beachfront, lush tropical gardens, and sophisticated yet intimate ambiance make it the perfect destination for relaxation and indulgence. Every space has been carefully curated to offer comfort, serenity, and a sense of refined luxury. A special thank you to Dheeraj, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the entire team—although I regret I cannot recall everyone's names, each member of staff contributed to making our experience truly exceptional. Salt of Palmar exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a destination where impeccable service, exquisite surroundings, and authentic hospitality come together to create a truly extraordinary experience. We leave with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return.

Hotel with very high standards. We stayed in the best on-the-beach room, which offered a higher standard, but all other amenities were the same for everyone. They thought of every detail! They even provided a glass cleaning service at the swimming pool. The food was wonderful - well done, chef! The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist. Well done, SALT of Palmar team!!!

Très bonne hôtel intimiste idéal pour les personnes souhaitant être au calme dans un cadre authentique. Attention, l’hôtel est exposé au vent surtout pendant l’hiver. La restauration est le gros point fort de l’hôtel. Mention spécial pour Heeroo qui nous a fait sentir à l’aise dès le premier jour.

Fantastic place with an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the beach was beautiful, with crystal-clear water. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. The rooms are well-furnished, thoughtfully organized, and showcase great design. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

Es war unser dritter Urlaub im Salt of Palmar und wieder wundervoll! Wir können das Hotel für Erwachsene, die Ruhe, Erholung, hervorragendes Essen und persönlichen Service suchen nur empfehlen. Noch dazu liegt das Hotel an einem einmalig schönen Strand in Mauritius. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
