great location,needs updating bad,cheap

The room looked like it had not been cleaned. Dust everywhere, dried up food on tv stand, fridge was dirty, food in the kitchen sink drain, bathtub was dirty, shower curtain was dirty, flies in the room…I can keep going on but I think you can get the idea it was DIRTY. We stayed here 10 years ago and it was great then. The place has gone downhill. I would not recommend it to anyone. We did not end up staying and got our money back. Had to scramble to find other accommodations.

The Owner of the place was very nice. Super friendly and helpful. The motel was quite opposite of him. Very dirty and ran down.

We called ahead to inquire if there was a couch in the room and was told there was. When we got there the said 'couch' was an arm chair. The place smelled badly of smoke despite the fact we had requested a smoke-free room.

I know the ad says "No Frills Motel" but this place was honestly the worse place I have ever stayed. I had to be at the local hospital early the next morning. If not for that and the fact it was for one night I would have left the moment I walked in. I've enclosed pics with this review so you'll see what I mean. We checked in at their gas station as no one was in the office of the motel. Went to the room and it was extremely small which wasn't an issue. Just needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. That said it was DINGY & FILTHY. Tears in the bedspread as well as a cigarette burn (non smoking room).1 hand towel and 1 bath towel NO facecloths and 2 of us checked into the room. Light fixture in bathroom was hanging off and the ceiling was filthy. Internet was slow and there was no cable. Out the entire time we were there so couldn't watch Tv. When I spoke to the staff about the TV he told me to turn it to channel 3 and we'd have ALL the channels. What he meant was channel 3 was the only channel and it was distorted and you couldn't hear the words and it went out eventually too. Tiny kitchenette, light fixture but NO bulb so it was like a prison cell in that tiny corner. A car freshener hung to cut the smell. No smoke alarm (which I am pretty sure is against the law) Upon check out he asked if the room was "good" I said no and again mentioned the TV but he cut me off and said no I mean is room locked.You don't get what you pay for & they don't care about your comfort.
