Quirky converted beach shack in sleepy American River. Some beautiful scenery and wildlife along the river. This property presents affordable accommodation in peak season and good base to explore around east and central KI. More suited for 4 as sofa bed requires updating. Unfortunately had a blocked shower drain during our stay otherwise stay at property was comfortable. It was disappointing that the oyster farm shop previously just up the road is now permanently closed.

Ideally positioned in American River, a 50 metre stroll to the Oyster Farm shop for all your seafood and around the corner from the cafe and jetty. This place is straight out of the 60's yet has all the amenities you want for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Tony, the owner, is ready to assist with anything you might need and of course he will entice you to KI Tru Thai for a unique dining experience, just 10 minutes away.
