Fabulous meal and lovely overnight stay

Very unusual experience. We arrived to an overgrown exterior, thinking it was closed down.
Internally was average, with dust on bathroom floor. Dinner was very good, some of the best we have had in Scotland. Beds were good and room was generally clean.
Overall it turned out to be a good stay but would not regard it as good value- expensive accomodation for what it is. Needs 1 good day in the garden for a massive tidy up.

Really great service from Joe. Really appreciated the late check in, showing us to the room and the breakfast in the morning was fab - perfectly cooked and really well presented... a great selection. Thanks team for a lovely stay - it was a fleeting visit, but you have created a lovely warm stay... fittings and decorations were great.
