Our first-floor room smelled of mold. Inn had deployed a dehumidifier which was auto-shut-off upon arrival due its tank being full (our check-in was delayed because the room was being "prepped!"). We emptied the tank, and the dehumidifier ran all the time we were there. No effect on the room smell. We checked out the next morning as the smell made us ill.

Whitehall was a great base for exploring the Maine coast with lots of nice seating areas when you want to take a break from exploring the Maine coast.

This inn is adorable. Our room wasn't big, which we knew going in, but the beds were comfortable, like I was at home in my own bed. Breakfast was included and delicious. Definitely want to come back and spend more time in both the Inn and the town.

They called me an hour before I got there and told me that they may have given my room away to someone else. When we checked in, they acted like nothing happened when we walked into our room it smelled and everything was damp. The next day when we checked out, we told the front desk how the room smelled and they just kind of blew it off. I don’t think I would stay there again.
