Flynas is the first low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia. It was established by Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud. Flynas is headquartered in Riyadh and operates domestic and international flights.

Flynas was established in 2017 with a fleet of 12 aircrafts. The airline has been operating for just over a year and has already served a lot of passengers. Flynas offers flights from Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Abha, Yanbu, and Doha.

Carry on baggages (Hand carry bag)

It is a type of luggage that passengers are allowed to carry along in the plane’s cabin, it has specific dimensions and specifications to be accepted on-board such as:

• Ideal dimensions are (length= 56 cm, width= 36 cm, height=23 cm)
• In case of exceeding the ideal dimension extra charge could be applied 
• Each passenger is allowed to carry one bag and in case of more than one bag extra charge will be applied 
• Maximum weight is 7 kg 
• Carrying a liquid in the cabin should be in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag, quantity restricted to 100ml

Checked luggage

It is also called cargo baggage or hold baggage. You can check the below table and get your baggage allowance based on which category you are in. 

• Group 1 contains Kuwait, Dubai, Amman, Sharm Elsheikh, Istanbul, Trabzon, Beirut, Tbilisi, Batumi, Baku, Sarajevo, Hurghada, Tirana, Tashkent, Kyiv, Salzburg, Lviv, Odessa, Prague, Moscow, Santorini, Mykonos and Varna
• Group 2 contains Antakya, Lahore, Islamabad, Khartoum, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Lucknow, Calicut, Karachi & Cairo
• Group 3 contains Baghdad & Erbil

Restricted items 

• Cash, credit cards, valuable documents, and precious metals or similar 

• identification documents

• Electrical or electronic components e.g. computers, cameras, mobile phones, projectors

• Fragile, delicate or brittle items e.g. watches, glassware, 

• Medication

• Perishable or frozen items e.g. seafood, meat, fruit

• Compressed gases (deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous)

• Explosives (munitions, fireworks, pyrotechnic devices and flares)

• Corrosives (acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries)

• Radio-active material

• Flammable liquids and solids (lighter fuel, matches of any kind, paints, thinners, fire-lighters or items which are easily ignited)

• Poisons (toxic substances, weed-killer and insecticides).

• Oxidizing materials (organic peroxides and bleaching powder)

• Disabling devices (mace or pepper spray)

• Infectious substances (virus culture, bacterial strains)

• Weapons, firearms

• Dead animal matter

• Other items which are irritating or offensive materials or magnetized materials

Sports Equipment

• You can pre-booked your sports equipment and get advantages of a good discount, yet you will not get the same discount at the airport.
• Each baggage should not exceed 32 kg, it will not counted from the checked baggage allowance.
• Sports equipment such as Bicycles, Surfboards, Golf, Fishing Equipment, and Scuba Diving Equipment.
• Conditions and policies are differ according to the content of the baggage 
• A handling fee of SAR 100 will be incurred at the check-in counters for non-standard or over-sized items of baggage (e.g. sporting equipment) that are larger than 158cm

Special Baggage

It is one of the advantages in flynas. You can cargo your baggage as special baggage in case of restricted baggage allowance in a specific destination. Please check the Cargo Service at flynas.com

Notes 

• flydnas doesn’t accept birds, reptiles, fish or animals for carriage in the hold or onboard.
• Weapons, all kinds and categories are prohibited to be carried neither in checked in baggage nor cabin baggage 

Excess baggage 

• In case you have extra baggage, you may choose to pay the fees at check-in or pre-book.
• You can get a discounted rate on excess baggage. Pay your fees 6 hours prior to the departure time.
• For bookings, Changes, or Cancellations to purchasing and Pre-Paying for Excess Baggage can be made via the flynas Website or through Call Centre up to Four (6) hours prior to departure, service fees may apply.
• In case flynas cancel a flight, you will receive a Credit Shell for the amount paid by you for Book and Pre-Pay excess baggage, without penalty.
• A maximum of 5 litres of Zam Zam water per Customer is permitted, you may pay extra fees according to the baggage allowance fare type
