• Passengers can purchase additional baggage allowance in advance, until 4 hours before the flight’s departure time, through the website, PIA booking offices and from sales agents worldwide.
• The minimum limit to purchase is 5kgs, while the maximum limit is defined based on route choice.

For passenger safety and security, Pakistan International Airlines has restricted several items on its flight.

• Explosives, munitions, fireworks, and flares.
• Lithium batteries and pyrotechnics 
• Compressed gases (flammable, lighter fuels and non-flammable).
• Safety matches and Radioactive Materials.
• Corrosive materials that contain mercury (thermometers, blood pressure gauges and wet cell batteries)
• Knives and sharp objects.
