Air Astana

Established in 2001, Air Astana has become the leading airline in Kazakhstan, operating both domestic and international flights. The airline has been recognized for its exceptional achievements during its first decade of operation by the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation. Air Astana's extensive network includes most cities in Kazakhstan, as well as several Russian and Central Asian cities. Additionally, the airline has expanded its reach to Delhi and Seoul in south and east Asia through codeshare agreements with Asiana Airlines and has partnered with other airlines like Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Bangkok Airways.

Air Astana has achieved significant success, with 3.7 million passengers carried in 2016. Its fleet of Boeing 757-200 aircraft, consisting of five planes, offers economy and business class services, as well as an Economy Sleeper option. The airline began commercial flights in 2001 and has since expanded its operations to include Tashkent, Ürümqi, Tbilisi, Dushanbe, Baku, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, and Omsk. The airline has been consistently recognized as the Best Airline in Central Asia and India from 2012 to 2017, marking an impressive history.
